This is one of our most popular trips each and every year, and 2025 again promises to be a great week.

Not only will you be taking in Origin 1 at the famed Suncorp Stadium, you’ll also be treated to rounds of golf on the best courses on the Gold Coast: Links Hope Island, Royal Pines, Glades, and Surfers Paradise.

GOLF

Links Hope Island Golf Club

The golf course at Links Hope Island Resort is an 18-hole traditional links style championship course that was designed by Peter Thomson, 5 x winner of the British Open. The layout and design of the course is reminiscent of the great links courses of Britain and Ireland.

Primarily the course consists of two loops of nine holes, the front nine starts off to the southeast in an anticlockwise direction. The back nine heads off in a south-westerly direction, finishing with an interesting and challenging two holes bounded by the non-tidal lake.

RACV Royal Pines Golf Club

RACV Royal Pines Resort is located just minutes from the Gold Coast’s famous beaches and features a 27-hole championship golf course. With tight fairways, undulating greens and strategically placed bunkers, each 18-hole combination has its own distinctive challenges that requires a unique skill set in order to have a successful round.

RACV Royal Pines Resort was the long-time host of the Australian PGA Championship and the Australian Ladies Masters.

Glades Golf Club

The Glades Golf Club boasts the reputation as one of Australia’s most prestigious resort golf courses and is located right here on the Gold Coast.

Designed by champion Australian golfing icon, Greg Norman, the course is typical of his trademark aggressive layouts offering golfers a challenging round of golf within visually stunning surrounds.

The Glades greens are unique to any other golf course on the Gold Coast and will ensure a superior putting surface all year round as they consist of a new type of “Creeping bent grass” that offers a true putting surface and is the preference of professionals and amateurs alike.

The Glades is a par 72, 7264 metre championship course that spans 65 hectares of land. Greg Norman is renowned for his bunkering worldwide and the Glades does not disappoint with a total of 94 bunkers. Greg not only had a vision to create a challenging golf course on the Gold Coast, but he also retained 9 hectares of wetland area to create a natural wildlife sanctuary within the course.

Surfers Paradise Golf Club

Surfers Paradise Golf Club, located in the heart of Queensland’s Gold Coast, offers a classic parkland-style course with lush fairways and well-manicured greens.

Established in 1967, the course provides a strategic challenge with tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and thoughtfully placed bunkers. Despite its central location, the club maintains a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both social and competitive golfers.

With excellent facilities, including a modern clubhouse and practice areas, Surfers Paradise Golf Club is a welcoming destination for those looking to enjoy quality golf in a vibrant coastal setting.

Once registered, all entrants will be invoiced for a $250 deposit to secure your spot in the tour. Final payments are due 28 days in advance of the tour.
