We’re excited to once again be the official provider of golf tours for the 2024 Ampol State of Origin Series. Signature Golf Tours are the only authorised golf tour partner of the NRL.

This exclusive and strictly limited trip is going to be one to remember!

Not only will you be taking in Origin 2 at the famed Melbourne Cricket Ground, you’ll also be treated to rounds of golf on some of the best and most prestigious courses in the country (and world!) We’ll get to experience Kingston Heath Golf Club (host of the 2028 President’s Cup), Victoria Golf Club (2022 Australian Open host course), and the South Course at Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club (ranked 16th in Australia).

Kingston Heath Golf Club

Kingston Heath is one of the Golf Clubs of the world-famous Melbourne Sandbelt and has hosted numerous national championships including nine Australian Opens, 2 Australian Masters and the 2016 World Cup of Golf. The course is currently ranked number 20 in the world and is regarded by many, including some of the world’s best golfers as one of Australia’s finest golf courses.

Kingston Heath is one of the smallest courses of world renown. The difficulty of the course is centred around its bunkering, which is visually stunning. It is full of all the strategic interest golfers expect of a fine course.

A long course at over 6800 yards, it is now on the short side of what is regarded as championship length, but its genius is that it can still defend itself against the finest players. More importantly, it is a course to constantly stimulate and challenge those who play it with regularity.

Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club, South Course

Located in Melbourne’s famous Sandbelt golf region, Peninsula Kingswood is home to two championship golf courses. Additional facilities include luxury accommodation, state of the art practice facilities, 25-metre indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis court, bowling green and games room.

With stunning views across its fairways, the South Course is characterised by its creek lines and dry stone walls. Bunkering and green design put a premium on positioning from the tee. A true test of strategic golf.

Victoria Golf Club

The Victoria Golf Club gave architect Alister MacKenzie the perfect opportunity to create the finishing touches to a course of outstanding quality. The greatest players in the game have always been attracted to the famed Sandbelt layout to test their skills across a palate of indigenous rolling topography.

Since the early founders, the course and its members have weaved a rich tapestry of history. The history and feel of Victoria Golf Club is unique and needs to be experienced to be understood.

The Victoria Golf Club Life Member and five-time British Open Champion Peter Thomson said, “some clubs have a special character that sets them apart. It is not necessarily the quality of the course or the accommodations of the buildings that distinguish them. Please note: Your place in the tour will be approved once we have confirmed you meet the playing criteria as follows;

Must reside outside of Victoria
Must be a member of a golf club and have a current official handicap (Social or online golf clubs not approved)
Must be able to supply a Letter of Introduction from your home club

PAYMENT TERMS

Once registered, all entrants will be invoiced for a $500 deposit to secure your spot in the tour. Final payments are due 28 days in advance of the tour.
